Content
The course will cover the physics at the Large Hadron Collider, LHC. It will introduce the analysis techniques used and cover first results as well as future perspectives. The lecture includes includes the following topics: QCD processes at the LHC, the Physics of the Electroweak Gauge Bosons, Top Quark Physics, Higgs Physics, Supersymmetry and other physics beyond the Standard Model. It will also cover some of the more technical aspects of the LHC experiments.

The lecture is intended for students who have already attended introductory lectures on particle physics such as the Master Course "Experimental Particle Physics." The course is part of the program of the "Heidelberg Graduate School of Fundamental Physics". It is recommended for master, diploma and doctoral students in experimentat and theoretical particle physics.
