Pulse shape space of Helix128

The pulse shapes are sorted for preamplifier feedback resistance. Within each table the preamplifier current and the shaper feedback resistance is changed. The various curves show the shape for different external load capacitances, i. e. detector capacitances.

The preamplifier feedback resistance Vfp was chose here to optimal noise. Changing this value (e. g. to positive value like +0.2V to drain leakage current of a DC-coupled detector) does not affect the pulse shape significantly.

Vfp = -0.25V
Vfp = -0.35V
Vfp = -0.40V
