Design Rule CheckThe DRC checks if the design breaks a design rule. To execute the DRC click on Verify -> DRC... . Select the no_FIMP and the no_erc switch. no_FIMP is needed by the AMS process, because the process needs under the ntub a fimp layer. The no_erc (erc = electrical rule check) switch is used to prevent errors from not connected instances. In my case the DRC finds the following error. Error #1 is a distance error, we must move one of the fets. To find the error we can use Verify -> Markers -> Find... . Check the Zoom To Markers checkbox and click on the button Apply. Virtuoso zooms to the error and a window with the error description pops up. Correct the error and run the DRC again. For measurements you can use a ruler, which is available under Window -> Create Ruler . Finds the DRC no errors we can generate the fimp layer with the generate_FIMP switch in the DRC popup. Is the no_erc switch disabled you get two errors with floating POLY1. To eleminate this error you can place P1_C contacts of the end of every gate terminal, but it is not necessary for the efficiency. |
