| Abstract (en) | Many of the leading scientists in the field of biomedical vibrational spectroscopy took the chance to present recent results to fellow experts in the fields of chemistry, physics, mathematics, biology and, last not least, medicine. The prereading of manuscripts, the brevity of presentations, and lots of time for discussion made the Faraday Discussion Meeting a lively interactive event. Such scientific and technical exchange constitutes a prerequisite for the success of an interdisciplinary endeavour on its way from research to application. |
