Abstract (en) | As a step towards structured data exchange of different components used in neuromor- phic systems, a serialization library called bitsery is tested on a HICANN-DLS v2 prototype setup designed by the Electronic Vision(s) Group during this thesis. This is done to see how it could potentially be used in future distributed neuromorphic systems, where multiple processor units perform different experiment control tasks. To examine how the software performs under the constraints given by the ASIC, multiple tests will be conducted to ensure functional data exchange. These standalone tests are then concluded with the application of bitsery for parameter transfer in the NSEM (Neuromorphic Spike-based Expectation Maximization) experiment. |
