The LPKF ProtoMat S63 is suitable for many inhouse prototyping applications and it can handle 2.5-dimensional material processing. This means you can mill circuit boards and process housings.

For processing circuit boards you must follow same rules:

• No structures smaller then 100um (recommended min. 200um)
   
• Maximum 2 Layers
   
• Maximum working area (x/y) 229mm x 305mm
   
• We basically use boards with a thickness of 1,5mm and 35um copper surface.
   
• A maximum of 15 different tools are available. This means that not all hole sizes may be possible.
         
• For production we need Gerberfiles from TOP and/or BOTTOM, board outline and drill files.   

Important! To avoid mistakes please ask an electronic employee first before starting the Layout.

The following is important for process housings:

• PVC and aluminum can be processed
   
• The machine can engrave and drill holes
   
• You can realize pockets and outcuts
   
• You can produce polyimide stencils
   
• Maximum size of material (x/y/z) 229mm x 305mm x 35mm
