Heidelberg Student Days 2014

Monday 07.04. - Friday 11.04.

Welcome

Welcome to the Heidelberg Student Days 2014. The Student Days are organised by the Department of Physics and Astronomy to inform students about the research topics covered by the different institutes in Heidelberg. All students of the faculty are invited to participate. The programme extends over five days and consists of two parts:

  • In the morning, faculty members and students present the different disciplines of the faculty. You will get an overview of the large variety of research topics in Heidelberg. Especially the talks by students might provide you with insights into the daily work.
  • In the afternoon courses take place which should be interesting for all physics students which are however not part of the standard curriculum. On Wednesday afternoon lab tours will be offered, instead of the courses.

In addition, there will be a poster presentation on Tuesday evening. You will have the chance to get into contact with potential groups for your future Bachelor-, Master- or Diploma thesis.

For participation in the Student Days you can earn 1 ECTS point (attendance in the lecture and courses is required).

Registration

The registration for the Student Days is closed.

Please sign up for the lab tours in the coffee break on Monday, 07.04., 10:45 - 11:15 am, on the provided lists in the KIP Foyer.
