Abstract

When interpreting quantum mechanical phenomenons, it is important to argue on the basis of physics knowledge as well as from the philosophical point-of-view. This course consists of four parts, starting with a brief introduction in the central aspects and problems of quantum mechanics. The topics will be discussed using philosophical essays. Finally, a new Ansatz for the interpretation of scientific understanding will be presented. We will then elaborate, what understanding could mean in the field of quantum mechanics.
