We kindly invite you to join us at the international symposium “Beyond Digital Computing: The Power of Quantum and Neural Networks”.
The full simulation of complex systems, both in the classical and quantum regime, is far beyond the capabilities of current computing schemes. Recent proposals aim to push the boundaries of computability with hybrid strategies based on machine learning, network theory, neuromorphic hardware, and quantum simulation. Our international symposium aims to bring together experts at different stages in their careers to explore novel ways in which to harness the full potential of these emerging architectures.
The symposium will be held on March 19 – 21, 2018 at the International Academic Forum Heidelberg, the flagship conference venue of Heidelberg University.
More information about the symposium, list of invited speakers, and application are available at the symposium’s website: http://bdc.physi.uni-heidelberg.de.
