Beetle 1.4

Beetle 1.4 is the second of the three versions, submitted on the final Beetle engineering run in May 2004.
Detailed informations about the operation of Beetle 1.4 can be found in the User Manual.

Pads, positions and pad types of Beetle 1.4 are the same like Beetle 1.3.

Quick summary of improvements on Beetle 1.4

  • fixed parity bit of Pipeline Column Number (PCN) in the analog readout header
  • fixed even/odd crosstalk in pipeline
  • new, modified comparator
  • optical alignment markers
