Cadence Design FrameworkWhen Cadence is started it pops up the so called Command Interpreter Window (CIW). You can invoke various tools within the Cadence design framework by issueing menu commands or by entering commands in the LISP like script language SKILL. For example, you can quit Cadence via the File->Exit... menu, or by entering exit into the command line. All command outputs, whether they are issued via a menu or by SKILL are logged in the logging window and into a file called CDS.log which is located in your login directory. When two or more cadence sessions are open, the files are called CDS.log.1, CDS.log.2 a. s. o.. |
