Obtaining online help

Context sensitive online help is available via the help menu, which is implemented in nearly all windows that Cadence opens. For example, if you press the Help menu button at the right upper corner of the CIW, you get the following window:

You may also access the online documentation free of context, so that you can browse it in a hierachical manner. To do so, type

openbook &

from within a UNIX shell. The following window will appear, that displays the top level of the Cadence Online Documentation:

You may either browse through the hierarchy yourself or search for certain keywords via the Search menu.
