Layout Vs. Schematic

Layou vs. schematic shortened to LVS verifies that your layout is in agreement with your schematic. With Verify -> LVS... you are entering the LVS dialog. An other window pops up first, in this window you must choose Form Contents. Now we are select the schematic and the extracted views with the browse buttons or if the two windows open you can select them with the cursor. The default values are ok.

After pressing the run button you can cross your fingers and wait. A popup window reports the success or failure of the LVS. The result of the LVS run can be shown with the output button.
