Post Layout Parasitic Simulation
After extraction you will have two main cell views for the same circuit. The first one is the schematic, which is your ideal design, the second is the extracted, that is based on the layout and in addition to the basic circiut includes all the layout associated parasitic effects (remember: capall).Now we are re-run the simulation, but we will make the simulator Analog Artist to use the extracted cell view instead of the schematic cell view.
Open your testbed schematic in Composer and start Analog Artist via Tools -> Analog Artist. Press Setup -> Environment... in Analog Artist and add extracted in the Switch View List.
As a result of this modification, the simulator will use the extracted cell view of the cell, if one is available. But the entry of the extracted cell view must before the schematic cell view. Now you can go on with the simulation.
